Indoor Rowing
Basic endurance is incredibly important for physical health. A good cardiorespiratory system functions as the best prevention against obesity, Diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease and many other health risks in our western industrial countries.
Rowing includes upper and lower body musculature and is even more valuable than running. Rowing is easier on the joints and includes muscular endurance training. Additionally, it is a pulling movement and thus acts as a counterpart to most of our modern everyday movements. While rowing on water would be even better, it is impossible for most parts of the population. Therefore, we train with our rowers indoor groups and always change how our workout looks to keep training fun and varied.
The hardest thing about exercise is to start doing it. Once you are doing exercise regularly, the hardest thing is to stop.
